Reading now... Faith, Hope and Ivy June

Just a quick update on the book I'm reading right now.  Faith, Hope and Ivy June is about two girls doing a student exchange program in Kentucky.  Catherine attends a private boarding school in Lexington and Ivy June is from the poorest county in the Cumberland Gap (Kentucky).  I have been reading this book each night until I cannot possibly keep my eyes open.  I rush my kids to bed so that I can get housework done quickly and get back to the book.  It's wonderful!  A very interesting look from the perspectives of the two girl that seem very real.  I hope to finish it this week so I can pass it on.

Recent reads that I enjoyed:
The Evolution of Calpurnia Tate (Takes place around this area of Texas in 1900.  Might just be an all-time favorite of mine!)
Among the Hidden (This is the first in the Shadow Children series by M. Haddix  I plan to read the rest of the series this summer.)
