Good-bye my friends!

Words cannot express how much the kids and families in Dripping Springs mean to me and how much I will miss your smiling faces, great personalities and most of all... getting to chat with you about books and stories. Above is the last commercial I did for everyone here and I thought I'd share it here for parents and any kids who may have missed it.

I am currently reading Blue in the Face by Gerry Swallow and I am LOVING it! It is about a spoiled little girl who can throw a tantrum like nobody's business. When the girl, Elspeth, finally holds her great long enough to pass out, she awakens in a magical kingdom where she meets one fairy tale character after another. Come to find out, the kingdom is ruled by King Krool who is a dreadful person and we find out that the stories behind the fairy tales are not at all what we heard as children. Elspeth is far too self centered to take anyone's advice and is extremely bothered that SHE is the one who is supposed to save the kingdom from this evil ruler. All she wants is to go home. This book is hilarious and so much fun to read! It would be an awesome read aloud for 3rd-5th grades.
